ABOUT THE PRACTICE
-
DPC is a membership-based model that allows me to provide care without rushing or relying on insurance for every visit. You pay a flat monthly fee, which gives your family direct access to me—your pediatrician. That means longer visits, personalized care, and more time to focus on what truly matters: your child’s wellbeing.
-
I combine conventional pediatric care with integrative and functional approaches that look at the whole child. Its not just about treating symptoms - I get curious about what’s underneath. From nutrition and sleep to sensory needs and emotional health, we design a care plan around your child’s strengths, challenges, and story.
-
Yes—absolutely. At Meru, we recognize that physical, emotional, and developmental health are all connected. Every visit includes time to explore these areas so we can support your child in a truly holistic way.
-
They are. Most visits are 60–90 minutes, so we have the space to listen deeply, problem-solve together, and create an actionable, realistic plan—without the rush.
-
I stay in close communication with your child’s existing care team, whether that includes a therapist, school provider, or specialist. I’m happy to review reports, coordinate care, and make warm referrals that feel aligned with your goals.
-
Unfortunately not at this time. I am delighted to join your child’s pediatric care team as a specialty consultant. Our integrative pediatric practice is designed to enhance your child’s primary pediatric care, not replace it. Each child must have a personal primary care physician for routine and urgent care.
-
Absolutely. Caring for a neurodivergent child comes with both joys and challenges. I offer guidance, coaching, and space for you to feel supported and empowered as a parent, too.
SUPPORT & SERVICES
-
I care for children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, OCD, sensory processing challenges, mood issues, and more. Every child is welcome here—diagnosis or not.
-
Yes! The typical first visit is virtual and second visit is in person. Follow-ups can be in person or virtual based on your family’s needs and comfort.
-
I can prescribe medications when needed and also refer to trusted providers, such as OT, speech, and others. My goal is always to make sure your child’s care is cohesive and compassionate.
-
We start with a deep dive into your child’s history, lifestyle, and environment. From there, I may suggest functional lab testing or complementary therapies like nutrition support, mindfulness, or acupuncture—always with your input and values in mind.
-
Labs are tailored to each child and may include nutrient levels, gut health, inflammation markers, and more. We only recommend what feels useful, and I’ll walk you through every step.
-
Yes. I offer care coordination and advocacy support to help you understand school evaluations, communicate with your team, and access the resources your child deserves.
-
The pathway includes a thorough intake, lab review, individualized plan, community support, and structured follow-ups to adjust and evolve as your child grows. It’s designed to give families clarity, confidence, and continuity.
MEMBERSHIP & COST
-
Membership is a monthly flat fee that includes direct access to me, extended visits, care coordination, messaging, and much more. I’ll share a full breakdown so you know exactly what’s included—no surprise bills.
-
I don’t bill insurance. Use of HSA/FSA funds may be an option for some families.
-
I understand that life happens. Memberships can be cancelled / put on pause with 30 days notice.
-
6 months is the minimum requested commitment. We can design a care cycle that fits your family’s season of life.
